Another beautiful day in Venice

 We are clearly adjusting our pace and have managed to become comfortable with a simple pattern of not setting a structured agenda every day.......and deciding what to do as the day evolves.  While we are busy all day, it is a nice feeling of just acting on impulse.  The only things we really have to take care of are eating, drinking, making sure our wi-fi is connected, capturing time for drawing.......and figuring out what we need to shop for.

Today started off with breakfast as usual, and moved on to a trip to Guidecca for food shopping, coffee and lunch.  Breakfast was fun, as it was our first attempt to cook scambled eggs in the microwave!  It was also 'housekeeping' day and we got to chat with the two women who changed our sheets and towels.

Lunch was not fully anticipated.  We had bought panini to bring back to the apartment.  That plan was superceded by sitting down at Bar Zitelle for a cappucino......and 45 minutes later deciding we might as well hang out for lunch......which turned out to be simple and delicious.
